Made with high quality merino sheepskin. This is perfect for horses with sensitive skin. Avoid girth sores and rubs with the soft sheepskin.

- The sheepskin wool needs special wash care.
Washing Instructions: Hand wash or cool machine wash. Wash with a specialist lambskin detergent. Do not use soap, no biological washing powder, no fabric softener, no Tumble dry at low temperature.
Care Instructions: Sponge lightly soiled areas and towel dry. Brush gently after washing to help restore fluffy appearance. Leave to dry naturally, out of direct sunlight. Air daily to keep lambskin fresh.
how to wash?
Machine wash with a laundry bag, at 30 °C. Do not overload the washing machine and spin normally.
We recommend machine washing because it is more effective than hand washing. Please never wash without skin detergent.
Never leave products in the machine after washing. Take them to drying immediately. For Best result you can use the MELP detergent or the leather therapy laundry rinse.
Never dry in the sun, always brush the sheepskin before to use it.

Loved this girth! I bought one 3 years ago so decided to get another one because it was so plush and cushy. Sadly this one isn’t quite as nice as my first one.The wool is a bit thinner and it feels a bit stiff. Still like it and will use it though.
I originally got this girth for one of my young horses who is mildly girthy. With this girth her girthiness almost completely disappeared. Now almost all my horses go in this girth. They wash up well and are very good quality and a reasonable price point

This girth is real wool, not plush synthetic. I like the elastic on both ends which make it easy to set the saddle.
